Draw star and heart shapes on white felt and
cut them out. Embroider the star, using a
silver thread, with a feather stitch, working
from each tip to the centre,

Use
a white thread to blanket stitch/buttonhole
stitch around the heart, fixing it to the centre
of the star,

Stitch pearl beads and paste crystal accents
on the star and heart. Using a white thread,
buttonhole stitch around the outer edges of
the ornament. Add a loop for hanging. ■
